This Cartizze Dry reveals itself to the eye with a beautiful, bright and shining straw yellow colour. Wide nose with fruity notes of banana, apple, pear and citrus notes and floral hints of orange blossom and jasmine. Soft in the mouth, enveloping sip, a beautiful fruity and floral combination is perceived between nose and mouth, which makes the drink truly special. The perlage is fine and delicate with a long and persistent finish.

Grape variety: Glera 100%

Vine age: 25-35 years

Vineyards: Cartizze – Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene

Altitude: 200-350 m asl

Terrain: Sandstones and moraines, shaped over time to form a thick layer of clays

Appearance: Hill on the southern slope.

Climate: Continental – average annual rainfall of 1250 mm.

System: Guyot.

Density: 4,000 per hectare.

Yield: Maximum 120 quintals per hectare.

Harvest: September 10 – 25.

Vinification: Soft pressing in a pneumatic press, sedimentation of the must and fermentation at a controlled temperature with inoculation of selected yeasts.

Second fermentation: Charmat method for 30 days in autoclave.

Residual sugar: > 16 gr/lt.

Sensory profile: Fruity and floral with notes of ripe apple, pear and white peach and tropical fruit, jasmine on the nose.

Perlage : fine and delicate, balanced on the palate

Serving temperature: from 6° to 8° degrees.
