Production area : Salaparuta , 400m asl south-east exposure
Terrain : Alluvial and deep soils, of medium texture. Good organic matter content.
Cultivation and pruning : Counter-espalier - Guyot
Yield per hectare : 90 quintals per hectare Nero d'Avola 70 quintals per hectare Merlot
Vinification : The maceration process lasts 15-18 days at 26 C°. After racking, it is aged in tonneaux until the desired characteristics are achieved.
